JuJutsu Kaisen: Execution is not precisely an original movie. Instead, the latest movie from the JuJutsu Kaisen action franchise acts as a recap of the series' second installment merged with the first two episodes of its upcoming season, which kicks off the Culling Games narrative from the original manga. This establishes Execution, which just got a new trailer, the earliest way to watch the start of the forthcoming season ahead of its 2026 January debut. The feature launches in Japan on Nov. 7, and in North American regions on December 5.

The Culling Games Plot

People clamored to see if the Blu-ray, made available on March 18, would add any additional scenes to the sequence or to see if it was improved in any way, and were thrilled to see exactly that, alongside tone adjustments, enhanced animation, and different color grading.

The Film's Potential

But the physical release can only touch up what has previously shown in the broadcast edition, whereas the cinematic experience has the chance to do the sequence justice with additional alterations and freshly created footage.

If the production company wants to kick off the year perfectly, run back the show's top scene once again in theaters with the best interpretation we've witnessed to date.
